+ Flower Keepers Oracle is a 49-card deck created to connect to the colorful and magical world of Flowers and Fae. The fairies are here to guide you, teach you self-love, self-care and empowerment. These cosmic fairies presented themselves to me as the Guardian of the flowers. They are called Keepers. In order to represent them accurately I started out with a pencil sketch so I could channel their appearance. After I drew out the entire deck in pencil I used a fine point micron pen to ink in the delicate details of each flower and their Keeper. It was important to them that I drew them in their fairy best attire consisting of high flower fairy fashion. Their divine hats are one of their most important magical accessories and they do not go anywhere without them. I tried to make the painting process as magical as possible, and infused not only the inked drawings but also the paint water with carefully chosen crystals. I would leave these crystals on the images overnight before I painted them in the morning. My paint water always had water-safe crystals in it to enhance the magical properties of each card as they came to life with color. The Keeper's are cosmic fairies assigned to each flower to protect them and nourish their magic for all eternity. They reside in the enchanted garden that exists just beyond the land of our dreams. They are always there if we need their guidance or encouragement. These fairies have no gender, no race, they do not age and they have guided humans and other beings for many many lightyears. Through many many periods of time. You may have seen them if you have ever taken a stroll in the flowers at sunrise or sunset, which is their favorite time to be out and about. They are often represented with their eyes closed to show the deep state of meditation they reside in for most of the time. Each of them hold one or two cups of their favorite tea made carefully from their flowers, that they keep close on hand for their visitors like you. I have always been in love with the land of the fae, and have been painting them for over 20 years. I have wanted to feature them in a deck for quite some time, but obviously the task of painting so many cards can be difficult. It took three years, and I have had two sons since I started this project, but I am proud to finally present a deck that represents fairy and flower magic. I hope it is a deck that provides guidance, sparks your imagination and also makes you smile. I hope it helps you to connect to the magic of flowers and the enchanted land of the fae. Each card has a powerful affirmation that connects us to the magical healing properties of each flower. These affirmations can be used in many ways. You can choose the one you most connect with at the time and place it in your magical space, repeating it to yourself throughout the day. You can also ask the fae which one you need and pull a card from the deck as a divination tool, and then consult the accompanying book for their message. They also each have a meditation or other mindfulness exercise that accompanies each of their magical messages. There really is no wrong way to use this deck, and the fae hope you get creative with it and share it with them! They love to learn new ways to use their magic and they feel you are just the person to teach them! The cards are printed on 410 gsm paper with a satin finish, which means there is no light glare with a really lux thickness. They measure 2.75 by 4.75 inches, which is the size of standard tarot cards. I chose to make them this size instead of your typical 3 by 5 inch oracle size for ease of shuffling.
