+ After several requests, and my own need to reconnect Redon's evocative and colourful imagery, I have decided to launch a 3rd and final edition of this deck. Those of you who have the first or the second edition will note several key changes, which are shown below. Why you need this deck: 84 richly-designed tarot cards which follow the Rider-Waite-Smith system (12 of which have been reworked from the second edition, and 6 of which have been added just for this deck) perfect for the traditional Tarot reader and intuitive reader alike (with the possibility, again, for additional cards) card stock is the same as the first and second editions - a high quality 330 gsm German black core with satin finish and linen texture, a very carefully selected stock that is flexible and durable, and perfect for withstanding riffle-shuffling; cards are 70 mm x 120 mm a redesigned full-colour, sturdy book-style box with petal-like texture and magnetic closure (larger box and larger book in this edition!) - the box and little white book are now enlarged (book is 11 cm x 16 cm), so the deck will nest safely in a removable EVA cushion. now a 150-page guidebook with descriptions for each card, including reversals - the book provides a mindful approach to tarot with key insights about the cards from the amazing Dr. Esther Freinkel Tishman, author of Mindful Tarot TWO sticker sheets included with every deck it's a limited edition of 1,000 (no more of this series will be printed, ever, after this print run) an expansion pack of 10 cards is available as an add-on, to provide a rich oracle/clarifier aspect to this deck It features the sumptuous artwork of Odilon Redon which lends itself perfectly to endless interpretations through the lens of tarot It is diverse, as Redon was deeply fascinated by Japonism, Judaism, Buddhism, Christianity, and deep psychological symbolism Meet the new cards for the third edition For the existing card designs from the first two editions, I would encourage you to search for flip-through videos on YouTube. If you are on Facebook, I very much encourage you to join Dr. Esther Freinkel Tishman's private group, Mindful Tarot, as she walks through 78 daily meditations using the Lonely Dreamer deck, with #dropm78. She is absolutely brilliant. The video for this campaign shows the new cards as well (I have intentionally kept the resolution low to reduce the risk of plagiarism). The little white book has been enlarged and will now include Dr. Freinkel Tishman's mindful-based insights. I am thrilled! While many of the cards have undergone minor edits between the second and the third edition, some have been completely reimagined to reflect my evolving connections Redon's work.
