+ 78 beautiful images from book illustrations over 100 years old combined into a unique tarot card deck. Various printmaking technique that has been used to illustrate books for centuries. These beautiful images were made by the artist carving the image in relief into a plate of metal and applying a color process, some of the images are extremely detailed some are simple and crisp. I have used 78 of these illustrations’ to produce a Tarot Card Deck that consists of unique images for both the Major and Minor Arcana. The Tarot Deck is professionally printed on premium card stock in full color. The cards are 2.5" x 3.5" (Poker Deck Size) with rounded corners. The deck will ship in a cellophane wrap with a muslin drawstring bag. The VCBI (Vintage Color Book Illustration) Tarot Card Deck is made up of direct scan images of book illustrations that are over 100 years old often there are marks and wear that have to be corrected. No pips are used in the deck so each cards' illustration had to be individually worked with.
